Hi, this is Ryotaro

I want to ask about GUI Controls dashlets.

My understand is below.

On Windows or WPF, OnClick、OnDoubleClick、Keypress event on the java,.NET application can see by the "GUI Controls dashlets".


Is it client action?(User action) or app server action?

Can I see the information on GUI Controls dashlets without UEM license?

I have to tell our customer as soon as possible.

so please answer as soon as possible.

It is my understanding that the GUI Controls dashlet displays events coming from desktop apps which are instrumented with an agent. This only works on Java or .NET based desktop apps. This does not come from Browser apps, so this has nothing to do with UEM. UEM is not required. Instrumentation of the desktop app is required.

The GUI Controls events are captured on the rich client side, not AppServer side.

To enable for .NET based rich clients, be sure to place the GUI Controls Sensor packs for the appropriate Sensor Group. (.NET WPF & .NET Windows Forms)
