Grey Exec Total Numbers in purepath

I'm having a hard time understanding why certain method calls in a purepath have an Exec Total reading that are Grey. I am drilling down to the most lowest level of a method call and all of the Exec Total numbers are Grey. Also noticed that there are no readings for the Elapsed Time column. Are these some sort of asynchronous readings?

The grey entries signify that this is data coming from the auto sensor (https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/DOCDT63/Sensors#Sensors-AutoSensors), black means byte code instrumentation. You can also recognize them by the grey M in front of the method name.

Due to the nature of auto sensors showing aggregated information for the individual transaction there is no elapsed time for them.
