Has anyone done any work on sending Dynatrace Incidents to CA Service Desk (R12)

Hi All 🙂

I'm currently trying to configure Dynatrace to create a new incident in CA Service Desk when an incident is created in Dynatrace APM.

I'm running into issues with the Generic Execution plugin due to the nature of CA's webservices - in that I need to send 3 different requests & parse the responses to generate the actual createIncident request.

Just wondering if anyone has already done this & has some advice for me? Or a solution that works that they feel like sharing?

Hi Bridget

I dont think there is an available plugin. I checked out internal forums as well but couldnt find anything. One thing I found is that some users have used our SNMP Action Plugin. That might be worth a try.

Otherwise feel free to create a plugin and share it with us

Hello Bridget,

We are using the SNMP to send messages to BMC and I guess in the same way you can use for the CA Services Desk.
