Having troubles with the windows authentification and the performance warehouse

Hello,

I geting the error that the user cannot login to the performance warehouse, using a windows user to connect to it. Using the management studio we can see that the user is getting the data.

I am following this article to do the configuration, but it seems that the user is not being taking in count:

Am I missing something?

Hello David,

Did you configure the flags on both .ini files e.g. dtserver.ini and dtfrontendserver.ini? if Yes then share the error message and also check the server and repository logs.

Yes in both nothing on the logs perferror.png

Extract from the server log:

Hello David,

Try to follow the below steps to diagnose problems:


  • Verify that the database machine is reachable from the AppMon Server machine by pinging the machine.
  • Verify that a vendor specific database client like SQLPlus for Oracle can reach the database.
  • Verify that it is possible to connect to the database with a JDBC client like Squirrel SQL Client).

If every step is successful, but the AppMon Server is still unable to connect to the database, contact AppMon support.

Thanks unhopufully I've arrived to connect it, with MSQL driver and with JTDS of sourceforge (the one Appmon uses....). I'll open a case
