Hi

I usually use sorting the purepaths by response time. Then you may select the purepaths which took more than 5ms and save them as a separate session or drill down for further analysis.

A filter option to do this would be helpful too.

Hi Matthias,

Thank you for response .

Actually my application gets around 2 million hits in a day so its hard to sort and select or copy them its causing system hang.

my requirement is % of pure paths took more than 500 ms / total number purepaths in given time interval (like total day or 6hours duration ) if possible I need a graphical representation also.

You might be able to make a business transaction that groups up and filters on PurePaths that fit the response time requirement you need.

You could then chart the count of these PurePath Response Time measures (normal) vs. (business transaction), or use a rate measure to get a percentage.

Hi Joshua,

Thank you for response .

Could you please help in the steps to creating that ,it may help me to do analysis faster .

Yes I can. Let me know if you have questions.

  1. Make a measure based on PurePath Response Time. Give it a unique name and set the threshold to 500ms. https://i.imgur.com/O9FD6Ce.png
  2. Create a business transaction and add that measure as your FILTER. https://i.imgur.com/HLENWo0.png
  3. To display your results, make a chart and add the Out of the Box PurePath Response Time measure and your Business Transaction's measure. Change the aggregation to Count. https://i.imgur.com/DMnlFiU.png
  4. Success! https://i.imgur.com/iuhZSGx.png

Note: You can also view this information and drill down into the PurePath results from the "Business Transaction" dashlet itself. https://i.imgur.com/a6f2j0A.png

Hope this helps!

  2. From there, click the + button for FILTER on the right and then Create Measure. Then, follow the steps from my previous comment. (added below)

Good idea, thank you Joshua.

Another possibility would be to export the data (REST-interface, 'PureLytics') and analyse the data with other tools. But then you Need Elasticsearch, Graphana ... some tools like this.

I have no experience with this yet. I'm doing some tests with the REST-interface, but the interface is quite limited now.
