Hi team, How to use suppression Time frame and How its been calculated?

For Example : Evaluation Time frame is 5 min and suppression time period is 30min. When It will get trigger mail.because now I am not getting getting single mail if I keep like this.
Could anyone tell me on this with the help of screenshots?

Hello Sangeetha,

Incidents are suppressed during the configured number of seconds after an occurrence, to avoid sending redundant notifications.

Can you please elaborate on this? I am not getting any mails but those I could see in client.What could be the problem? How to calculate suppression period?


Hello @Sangeetha M.

Incident suppression means that once the incident triggered then it will not triggered again even though in between number of violations occurs.

As I mentioned you in one of your other post that check the smart alerting for that incident and also make sure your email configuration is still working.

You can do a test to check the email functionality.
