How do I see how many users are currently logged into my Appmon7 web console?

How do I see how many users are currently logged into my Appmon web console?

With so many new features moving into the web console, I would like to see how many of my users are logging in. I know this is possible with the thick client, but I would like to see it for the web as well.

Would I somehow have to turn UEM on?

If you go into debug mode (ctrl+shift+F9) and go into the dynaTrace Self Monitoring profile the measures will now display the UEM that is captured for the web interface so you can chart visits and such. I think you at least need to have the agent that comes with the server active to see this but if all is well you should be able to get what you're looking for.

Note that after getting what you need be sure to exit debug mode as you may end up viewing options that no longer work or extra items that may just cause confusion/issues.

Hi James,

Thanks, debug mode definitely show a lot mode information. However, I don't think I have the agent configured correctly, do I just start up the 'dynaTraceWebServerAgent', I assume the agent needs to be hooked into the web server?

There's not really documentation around this as it's more for if supports needs it while troubleshooting but I expect you just need to have the agent-based self-monitoring enabled under server settings -> settings > general. When it's all working you should see agents for your server and frontend server connected in the agents overview you shouldn't need to do anything with a web server agent.

I have this enabled, but it is not working. Will have to figure out why, thanks for the help.
