How does the visually complete metric address Spinners/Throbbers?

With UEM, how does the visually complete metric address spinners/throbbers? Are they included or excluded in the above-the-fold content load time?

it does not directly address spinners. typically in web applications, spinners are animated images (gif, svg) and dynatrace will capture when the image gets inserted into the DOM - so when it gets displayed, as well when it gets removed from the DOM as a visual change that is considered for calculating visually complete. It does not notice the actual spinning as any visual change.
