Why do you feel you need to change the buffer size? Was it suggested by our support team or do you have symptoms, problems or errors you think can be fixed by changing it?
We are seeing High GC times in our system during high traffic times. We are already on XL sizing so we are checking for options to reduce the purepath buffer size to see if that helps with GC time.
Since you already have a XL sizing I would suggest you open a support ticket with a full support archive so our specialists can analyze the logs and the self monitoring session. Increasing the buffer could be counter productive on its own...
