I want to dig deep into the slow first party internal content that is displayed in DT purepaths , to analyse the issue further we need to have a web server agent or java agent, please let me know how we can create/configure web server and java agent in DT client, please let me know the step by step process or links which will help me to get this created.

This is well documented on the community...

Let us know if you get stuck at any point along the way.
Thanks Radu, we are accessing Dynatrace app tool via Proxy which is managed my a separate team, whether to install the agent whether I need to check with them to do it as these config changes are done at the DT home directory? please clarify.
Agent install will be done on the server that you want to monitor. By default, DT Home will be "C:\Program Files\dynatrace\dynatrace-7.0\" on Windows, or "/opt/dynatrace/dynatrace-7.0/" on Unix so you will need admin/sudo permissions on that machine. In addition, you will have to attach the agent to the process you wan to monitor (all explained in the documentation) - essentially, for an Apache process you will have to load an additional module in your http.conf file, for IIS, this will be an additional Native Module, and for Java this will be an additional jvm argument that needs to be added in.
I would suggest you contact the team responsible for administrating these servers as they will be familiar with how these changes to the process should be done and what your change request process will be.
From the AppMon Client side, you need to make sure you have created an Agent Group within a System Profile which has a naming pattern to map your new agents to an existing system profile.
Thanks Radu again, could you please help me on the below "From the AppMon Client side, you need to make sure you have created an Agent Group within a System Profile which has a naming pattern to map your new agents to an existing system profile." is there any links/tutorials on how to create Agent group and map it with the new agents created . Which will be of great help. I didn't see any Agent group under our System profile in DT client. Thanks in advance.
Open the System Profile and:
1. Create New Agent Group - give it a name
2. Select Agent Group
3. Click Agent Mapping
4. Create new mapping
5. Create rule based on agent name
6. Click Apply and OK.
That is a default option. All desktop clients will have it.
It may be that your user account does not have the permission to use it (although in that case I would expect it to be grayed out, not missing).
Can you post a screenshot?
That is not the System Profile. Those are the Server Settings.
You open the System Profile by double-clicking on its name from the left side menu (under the System Profiles entry):
I verified all the agents we have for our system profile, we have web server, java agents configured. But unable to figure out why still we are not able to drill down using the purepaths for slow first party content? not sure whether there is any separate agents we need for this? can you throw any light on this. Thanks
