Hi Satit,

Unfortunately, there is a restriction set that does not allow you to set the mobile interval to be less than 120 seconds. Why do you want to have a lower limit?

Kind Regards,

Jon

Hi Jon,

We are working in Android Auto instrumentation POC.

Customer would like to do fast issue reproduction in case there is a call from end-user.

For example, if end-user cannot perform transaction, IT will tell them over call to perform step-by-step. It will cause bad usage if there are 2 minutes delay.

The mobile bandwidth is not a concern as this is internal application for insurance agent only.

Regards,

Satit

Hello Satit,

Maybe this information helps you:

The mobile agent sends the available data, when the app is going into the background (regardless of the 2 minute interval). Also the mobile agent gives preference to crash reports and sends them immediately.

You can use the API call Dynatrace.flushEvents() from manual instrumentation to send the data

immediately to the server.

Keep in mind that there will be an additional delay by the correlation from the AppMon server, before the PurePath data is visible in the AppMon client. Especially for web requests, because the correlation has to wait for the data from the server agents.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

So if we press home button, all UEM data within buffer will be flushed immediately before the app go to stand-by.

Is that what you mean?

Regards,

Satit

Yes, the agent sends the data immediately (in this case).

OK, this is great to know! Thank you for reply.
