How to fetch UserActions in python code

I am working on a POC to extract the UserActions of users and learn the user behavior. I am trying to access the UserAction dashboard using REST URL (https://DTSERVER:8021/rest/management/dashboard/DASHBOARDNAME?PARAMETERS) from Python code. I am not able to successfully fetch the dashboard information as following error is thrown.ssl.SSLCertVerificationError: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain (_ssl.c:1045).

Can you please help or suggest an alternative to fetch the information I'm looking for.

Options are probably install a trusted root certificate (not a self signed one) on your cluster, disable certificate validation, or add the untrusted self-signed certificate to your trust store.

For a temp POC I'd probably just disable certificate validation though note this is not safe for production. A google for how to do that with Python should yield results.
