How to get list of Physical Memory for all monitored servers?

Looking for a list of the Physical Memory for all the servers monitored by Dynatrace AppMon. The metric can be found in the Infrastructure Host Information for an individual server (see picture). How can this list be created within AppMon?

Looking for total RAM, not the utilization.

Hi Mark

If you create a new dashboard, you can achieve this in one of two ways.

  1. You can create a Dynamic Measure Matrix and add both Memory Usable and Memory Used to this dashlet. You should see both metrics for every host in the System Profile that you configured it for. The sum of both metrics should be the total RAM for the each host.
  2. Another option would be to take advantage of the Generic Measure plugin for AppMon that allows you to create a measure that is the sum of two other measures. You could create a Total Memory metric that is the sum of the above mentioned metrics. After you've done this, you could add the metric to a Dynanmic Measure Matrix, as mentioned above.

Here is the link for the plugin: https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/...

This dashlet will only show you the hosts for one given system profile at a time. If you would like to view all of the hosts AppMon is currently monitoring, you could copy the dashlet a number of times equal to the amount of System Profiles you have and place them beside each other in the dashboard so that they are all visible. You can then right click the title of each dashlet and select Dashlet Properties > Source change the AppMon Server/System Profile for each to ensure that you are seeing all hosts.

I'd recommend naming the dashlets according to the AppMon Server/System Profile they are configured to.

Hope that helps.
