How to know JRockit JVM command line options

alejandro_jimen

Hello,

We are monitoring a Weblogic application server and we would need to know the JRockit JVM process options. Options related with heap memory and garbage collector set at jvm start time (Xns, Xgc,..).

Using Agent Overview dashlet we found several properties but we miss others.

Thanks,

Using the Agent Overview dashlet, select the agent, then at the bottom select the Agent Properties tab. You should see the Command Line and Application Command Line parameters. Do these not show what you need?

Thanks Joseph but that is the dashlet we tried first, however the agent properties tab doesn't gather information about heap memory or garbage configuration.

as Joe said, the agent properties tab will show you the command line of the JVM in the "Command Line" property's value. it might be truncated (reflected in "Command Line might be truncated"), but this is up to the OS and out of the scope of the Agent.

you should get any needed information from there.
