Incident Alerts for Http response codes

I have created two incidents, one is for all Http 5xx errors using the default measurements

HTTP 5xx Response (internal) ,

HTTP 5xx Response on Transaction Entry

but when I create a incident alert with custom measurments for response codes 500 and 401 using web request ,response status code by setting the regex value as 401|500 seems like it doesnt get triggered ,

@Babar Q. Hi

Its not beacuse of the regex . I tried changing the regex into a value 401 and setting the regex to equals , but still I dont see records in the incident dashboard even though 401 error occur

Regards.

Hello Sajidh,

I just checked match with the contains and it works for me.

Can you change and check on your side?

First go only with the one value e.g. 401

Hi , Did you edit the existing measure for HTTP 4xx Response , or created a new measure ?
also what is the threshold value ?

Regards

Sajidh

Hello Sajidh,

Create your own custom measure. See the below screenshot.

Regards,

Babar

also I have this message as a hint "

This Incident Rule has no effect since at least one of its Measures is configured to not create a timeseries."

this is how it looks like

Hello Sajidh,

I did not get your point.

Can you please more elaborate?

Regards,

Babar

I guess enabling generate and store Charting data in the performance warehouse , in the measurement settings solved the issue
