Is it possible to change the Incident Rule threshold for a Dynatrace Out of the Box incident rule such as "Host Memory Unhealthy"?

Hello,

I hope you are well.

The Client is currently getting Incident emails regarding there Host Memory being unhealthy.

They wanted to know whether they could increase the alert threshold, for this Dynatrace Out of the Box incident rule to prevent the recurrence of emails and incidents being added to the incidents dashlet.

Any help on this subject, would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hi Rion,

The "Host Memory Unhealthy" incident, along with host cpu and host disk, is part of the infrastructure alerting system. If you go from the desktop Client to Settings -> Dynatrace Servers... -> Infrastructure you will find that either at Host or Host Group level you can add your own thresholds for CPU, Memory, Network, and Disk alerting along with exclusions as well. In the alerts tab you can also customise which hosts should alert against which metrics, otherwise there should be a default host alert acting as a catch-all bucket.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Radu Stefan
