Is it possible to set thresholds for measures provided for Database Monitoring in dynaTrace 6.3?

Hi,

We would like to find out if it is possible to set custom threshold and configure incident reporting for new database monitoring feature provided in dynaTrace 6.3 such as create an incident and send a notification if active session count or ackground CPU usage beyond certain threshold set.

Thanks,

Chee

Hi Chee,

the part of the functionality enabling the database monitoring measures to be used for incidents isn't implemented in 6.3. However the scenario you are describing will work in the next release (scheduled for fall this year).

If you want to try it out before the official release, I would be happy to send you an invitation for our early access program - scheduled to take place during the summer.
