Issue with agent during load testing

nkleber

Hello,

I have some trouble with
Dynatrace during my load testing with Neoload. I will explain my issue. I use
Neoload to test an Asp.Net web application with Dynatrace as APM. When I activate the .Net agent, I
observe some time laps with any request.

When I deactivate the Dynatrace .net Agent, my load testing
happens without issues.

I have examined the log Agent .Net, there are any issues or
errors. I checked the configuration of the Dyntrace .Net agent it corresponds
with the process that I want to monitor.

Do you have an idea for this kind of issue ?

Hello @KLEBER N.

Not sure exactly but do you have such type of information in the Agents Overview Dashboard after the .NET agent.

Make sure that the below sensors are enabled in the agents group > sensor configuration:

  • .NET Web Requests
  • ASP.NET

Regards,

Babar

Thanks for your response @Babar Q., I checked both configurations are already enabled (.NET Web Requests, ASP.NET)

Hello @KLEBER N.

OK. Did you check gents Overview Dashboard after the .NET agent?

I sent you screenshot in the first comments.

Babar

Hello @Babar Q.,

I checked my .Net Agent appears on Agents Overview Dashboard.

Nicolas

Edit : I checked the issue appears only when I test an 64 bit app. My
Dynatrace Server and Client run as an 32 bit app. I have setup the
dynatrace server and client with the free trial exe, where I can found
the 64 bit exe ?

Hi Nicolas,

Have you verified the sensors which are enabled on the system profile, please un check the redundant sensors which you have enabled, this creates the overhead on the agent which might cause application to crash or makes sluggish.

You can download the 64 bit agents of the AppMon 2018 here

https://files.dynatrace.com/downloads/OnPrem/dynaT...

and for AppMon 2017

https://files.dynatrace.com/downloads/OnPrem/dynaT...

For AppMon server 7.0 you can download from here...

Thanks
