Issues with Exception Reports


Though most of time we can generate Exception Reports, I am seeing instances where we get no results from report queries, or on previously run queries. I have tried this on multiple PC's with the same results.

Often I can just 'dirty' the query by incrementing the date time by a minute or so and get results but not always. We are running 6.5 on a large enterprise system and noticed this behavior in 6.3 before upgrading.

All client installs are on Win7 Enterprise desktops and/or laptops with what seems to be good install as we can function well most of the time.

These queries are for the same hourly interval(s) and only differ by date(06:00 to 23:00).

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Dan

With Exception Reports - do you mean you have a Dashboard that contains the Exception Dashlet? And you then run a report on it? if so - what is the timeframe of your report? Have you looked into the dynatrace server logs for any problems reported when executing these reports?
