JavaScript injection from Java-tier not working

satit_auputtin1

Hi all,

Our customer would like to explore UEM module and thus enable UEM on one application.

This application does not have web-tier, therefore, we enable User Experience Sensor and inject JavaScript from Java-tier (JBoss).

However, even when the UEM Beacon still accessible. Somehow the JavaScript agent was not injected.

From UEM HealthCheck result, it seems the HTML page is compressed while JavaScript agent is uncompressed. But normally, the User Experience sensor will have Javascript agent compressed by default.

Any suggestion on this? Thank you.

Regards,

Satit

Hi,

I've seen before where JSP or other dynamic rendering technologies technically generate invalid HTML, though a browser can parse it no problem. I would be willing to bet that you need to specify an injection rule there, as then it will change from DOM-based injection to string matching, which will not care about the validity of your document.

Hope that helps
