Linux appmon client aborts after running successfully the first time

Anybody know why the Appmon client aborts with this message in linux?

2019-01-14 10:45:09 UTC INFO [DynaTraceSSLEnvironment] "client_server" is used as private key with SHA-1 fingerprint: AB:9A:2F:CA:50:E2:99:8A:34:2B:7F:AF:58:F0:D7:6A:55:C4:F9:35

After several try/error attempts I found the following workaround: remove these files:

cd ~/.Dynatrace/Dynatrace 7.1/client/conf

rm *salt .*bkp

Thanks in advance.

The only think I have in mind that maybe there is some problems with files permission and Dynatrace is not able to overwrite data. But it is just guessing...

As a really ugly workaround you can create short bash script that will be first cleaning this directory, and then starting dynatrace client. But I think there should be some easy solution

Try opening the client once with the option:

Something Like:
$ ./dtclient -Dclearcerts

Then, close and open it up as usual.

If doesn't solve the problem, open a support ticket and let us know the number here:

Hi Gabriel,

Kind regards,
