Load image from local disk using javascript in Text and measures dashlet AppMon v7

Hi,

We are trying to figure out a way to load an image file from the file
system using the "Text and measures" dashlet using javascript in AppMon
v7. We can successfully load an image from a URL but wondering if is possible to load
files from local disk on DT server? A snippet of js indicating what we
are trying to achieve below:

<style>

@font-face

{
font-family: 'Material Icons';
src:
url('/tmp/material-design-icons-3.0.1/iconfont/MaterialIcons-Regular.woff2') format('woff2');
}

</style>

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Would be nice but I think the app would have to be built to support this use case since the communication is encapsulated for specific client objects and not general use access to the filesystem. Why not use the "Text and Image" dashlet and upload from there?

Thanks Rick. The reason we can't use the Text and Image dashboard for this use case is because we need a traffic light chart which will display values from a number of BTs, and currently, the AppMon v7 web client traffic chart is limited to one series only. As a result we thought we'd take advantage of the flexibility provided in the new Text and Measures dashlet and have the js code load a traffic light image that would change state based on the (more than one) BTs we code into it.
