Mark request with specific user agent as robot/synthetic request

Hi All,

I have a request with a specific user agent that I know is coming from a synthetic script and I'd like to mark it as a robot/synthetic request. Current I have a BT to track this but would like to also mark it as a synthetic request. Can we configure this somewhere?

Don't believe so - the list of what user agents are considered bots and crawlers comes from the Udger database (only applicable for UEM regardless).

Hi Cosmin,

Yes, you can separate the Synthetic request using the transaction measure available in the Appmon.

  • No Synthetic Dynatrace Request - for taking out the synthetic transactions
  • Synthetic Dynatrace Request - for tracking only the synthetic transcations

Follow the below documentation section which has clear steps in implementing the same
