While attempting to reference one of our stored sessions on
the one of the prod servers, it was observed that we are unable to view it
anymore. I was able to review these stored sessions as of yesterday with no
issues. When they were created, we ensured that the ‘lock’ state was checked so
that the server did not delete them. what could be the issue for missing?
can you provide recommendation for restoration?
Are you sure that anyone didn't delete this session by mistake? Did you checked audit logs for this? If file is deleted from server it may be impossible to restore it. You can always export important sessions as DTS file and store it on external storage, but if session is locked this shouldn't happened. You have appmon 7.1, first check if you have last update installed, if not check on changelog if there were no bug for this kind of situation that was resolved.
