Monitor a Java Method with boolean return

I have a sensor on a java Method with no arguments. This method returns a boolean value.

Now i want to make measure who checks the return value.

But the evaluation can only be made in string value. Does Dynatrace convert the return value into a String? When yes how does it look like? When no is there a Documentation about this?

We use Dynatrace AppMon 6.5

Thanks

To get the value of an object (argument or return value) dynatrace calls .toString() on it.

If that isn't getting the expected result you can specify you own accessor for the value with deep object access. But for a Boolean it will return true or false, so you should be fine there if you evaluate that as a String.
