We are looking into disable the Incidents alerts during the downtime period/change activities. We tried to create the downtime option- Create Downtime. But realized there are changes to miss the real time issues. Please advise, if there is any option to separate the agents in a group(which agents has scheduled for the downtime activity) or suggest if any other chances.
It sounds like you want to set downtimes for specific agents/agent groups. Downtimes allow granularity down to the incident rule level so you would have to have the incident defined to only apply to the desired agent groups in order to create a downtime just for them. You cannot set downtimes for specific agent groups otherwise, additionally there's no cases I can think of where you'd be able to set a downtime for specific agents.
But ultimately we need this to be done. we have 1 system profile in a server and grouped all agents in the name of different agent group. In case, if we apply the rule(incident rule) then it's applicable for the entire agent groups which have been mapped in that system profile.
Please advise if any.
