No disk utilization metric for Windows Server

DynaMight Pro
DynaMight Pro

Only Linux Servers got disk utilization metric, windows server doesn't have.

Checked the exclusion setting in hostgroup there, there is no exclusion rule regarding to windows.

Any other possibilities I've overlooked?

Best Regards,

Wai Keat

You probably do not have the necessary privileges to collect this information. Is the user running the agent added to the Performance Monitor Users group?

You can find more information here:

Thanks Radoslaw, would check later. (But the Performance Monitor thingy should only be related to missing metrics in .NET isn't it?)

Anyway, if we can already get their Memory and CPU, I should already be in the Performance Monitor User Group?

For example in Windows Server 2012 R2 disk performance counters were disabled by default because of a noted significant performance impact in collecting Disk metrics on a Server.. Let's try this:

  1. Launch the Command Prompt using the "Run as Administrator" option.
  2. Enter the following at the Command Prompt:

    diskperf -Y
  3. Please restart agent and check.
