I'm having an issue where my application is calling out to an external web service, http://na11consul.atlas.cm.com, and when it does, my app throws these TypeLoadExceptions. This ONLY happens on the box that I have the dT .NET agent running. I have 3 other servers where the .NET agent is not running (only the IIS agent is running), and those servers do not throw these exceptions. And when I disable the .NET agent on this "bad" server, calling out to this web service stops throwing these exceptions. I'm trying to figure out if dT is somehow adding something to the header of the request so that my app no longer understand the request? Can anyone help shed some light? Can I disable any sensors for the .NET agent that may be causing this external to fail?
I would open a support ticket and see what my colleagues can tell you about this. maybe there is a problem with the instrumentation of your .net code that cuases this issue.
which version of Dynatrace AppMon do you run? Have you tried this with the latest 6.5 release?
