Performance warehouse- Dynatrace redistribution Agreement issue

Hi,

When i login to the servers it showing alert as "performance warehouse: Please accept the Dynatrace Redistribution License Agreement before using an Oracle Instance Client" Then i select Yes and apply the settings to the servers. But the it not saving the changes and again again promoting the same window .

I try disconnect and reconnected to PWH. Also restarted the server as well. PFA screenshot for your reference

Did you check the server and repository logs for this issue?

Instead of a database name
in the connection UI, you can apply an Oracle SID to access an RAC.

How can I diagnose
connection problems?

If the database connection
does not work, use the following steps to diagnose problems:


  • Verify that the database
    machine is reachable from the AppMon Server machine by pinging the machine.
  • Verify that a vendor
    specific database client like SQLPlus for Oracle can reach the database.
  • Verify that it is possible
    to connect to the database with a JDBC client like Squirrel SQL Client).
  • If every step is
    successful, but the AppMon Server is still unable to connect to the database,
    contact AppMon support.

Hi @Babar Q.,

We are able to connect to the PWH. But the selection of "Accept Dynatrace redistribution Agreement" check box is not saving.

Mayana, If Babar's suggestions do not help, you might want to open a support ticket and have Dynatrace Support team look into your issue.

Remember, the first thing support will do is look at your logs. Feel free to dig into them yourself and see if there's any useful nuggets.

FYI - This can cause major outages as not accepting this will disconnect you from your PWH. Beware.
