Potential native memory leak

balazs_bakai

Hi Folks!

I am just wondering why the memory dump overview tells me there is a native memory leak in this system. I see that the JVM process memory is higher than the maxiumum comitted memory. It's strange a little bit although, because we have not noticed any memory problem in relation to it. Maybe you could help us what I should think when I see this alert message! Thanks.

Hi. If you search for "native memory leak" you find the answer in some of our doc pages, e.g: Total Memory as well as in some of the discussion threads: How does dynaTrace determine native memory leaks or Native Memory Leak problem - hope that helps

Hi all,

I have similar question, too. When I try to follow the direct references, I am seeing com.dynatrace.diagnostics.agent.TraceTag present in VMRoot. Not sure how to interpret it.

The memory dump was triggered by out of memory exception.

Thanks,

-Ronald
