PurePath Buffer Size has doubled

Guide

My PurePath buffer size has doubled since the same period last week. It is causing PurePathBasedAnalyzerExecutor errors in my app server log and PurePaths are being dropped. How can I determine which agent/collector is responsible for the increase? I have already verified that ADO.NET and JDBC settings are set to aggregate.

Hello Jayne,

@How can I determine which agent/collector is responsible for the increase?

You can use the AppMon selfmonitoring profile measures for this. The MPS (purepath nodes per second) measure for exampmle gives you and idea how many PP nodes each agent traces. The 'bytes read from agent' measure represents the total amount of bytes received from the agent.

Hope this helps your investigation,

Regards
