Recently we upgraded DT APM from 6.1 to 6.5. Post which if the web server agents comes up respective Application stops working. So currenlty we have stopped Web server DT agent

Hello Karthik,

In the described behaviour you should open the support case but parallel do the following:

  • Restart the Web Server Agent Service and the Web Server Agent in the correct order. First restart the Web Server Agent Service and wait until it has reconnected. Then restart the Web Server Agent. This order is necessary to get both Agents updated to the correct version.
  • For old Unix installations where the Apache Web Server automatically starts the Web Server Agent Service a second restart of the Apache Web Server might be needed.
