Our SOLR application is installed in port 8443 with https. Does it need additional configuration or certificate to read from https?

No you don't need to worry about ports or encryption with the agents. They work in the process on the host itself before anything is encrypted and transmitted so it is not relevant.

Hi, James,

Since your comments of agent - I want to clarify that my earlier question is asking for SOLR remote monitoring plugin, not fastpack. SOLR plugin is not through agent, it's pulling data via collector.

Woops - yeah didn't see the title only the summary. I have not used the plugin before. Looking at the page for it though I see you can set a port and protocol so I would just set those as you described. I don't imagine anything else would need to be done assuming the plugin still works (it seems quite old).

Can anyone else confirm if the plugin still working or supported?

Sharyl

FYI - Community plugins are not supported by Dynatrace.

How about AppMon?

Sharyl

Not sure what you mean - I was referring to the company Dynatrace not the product.

Dynatrace only supports the set of plugins that are shipped with AppMon (e.g. the URL Monitor).

Not sure if this is addressed to me but on that link you can see the support level as community - we host links to some of them but do not develop them. Basically if you have to download and install a plugin it is not supported.
