Seeing confidential userids in argument of PurePath... option to turn off?

Hello DynaTrace users,

currently we are still seeing confidential userids in the purepath tree. In the settings we have set the confidential strings as the following:

When changing the "String Method Argument Values" to active there gets actually to much of invisible to our DynaTrace users, as seen in this picture:

At the moment it looks like this:

Does anybody have an idea here how we can make the UserIDs invisible without using the "Confidential String setting"?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Christian

Hello Christian,

Use the user permissions and authentication mapping to handle the confidential strings.

As mentioned before, this does not help.

We need an other option this make the user ID invisible in the purepath.

Hello Christian,

Did you remove the read confidential strings of the role e.g. user?

Permission: Read Confidential Strings. Applies to: Dynatrace Server Management.
Allows to read confidential strings.

Yes I removed it

Hello Christian,

Check the IP address masking feature in case it helps in your case.
