Split by is set to Application and set to No Splitting the reported values are drastically different related to user action duration

HI All,

In the process of making changes to dashboards in the client
and in web dashboards I found something that doesn’t seem quite right. I have
added a Business Transaction – Duration to a chart and set the aggregation to
99th percentile. It seems when the split by is set to Application
and set to No Splitting the reported values are drastically different related
to user action duration. As you can tell from the sample dashboard I created,
there are two applications associated with this BT. However, the second
application, Carehub2 only has 1 logged transaction over the course of a month,
so it should not cause the drastic difference in reported action duration.This issue is also observable in the web dashboards as
well.

Please suggest what could be the reason for this ?
