Splitting by method argument

Hello,

I have following code:

switch (type) {
case UtilSK.LOANTNX_TRANSACTION:
parseAndCacheTransactions(jmsMessage, source, sourceTimestamp, TransactionLOSKBean.class,SKProzessors.getTransactionProcessorsLOV01(), UtilSK.LOANTX_HEADER, UtilSK.CSV_CONFIG_LO); break;case UtilSK.RBTRAN_TRANSACTION:
parseAndCacheTransactions(jmsMessage, source, sourceTimestamp, TransactionRBSKBean.class,SKProzessors.getTransactionProcessorsRBV01(), UtilSK.RBTRAN_HEADER, UtilSK.CSV_CONFIG_RB); break;case UtilSK.SVCD_TRANSACTION:
parseAndCacheTransactions(jmsMessage, source, sourceTimestamp, TransactionSVSKBean.class,SKProzessors.getTransactionProcessorsSVV01(), UtilSK.SVCD_HEADER, UtilSK.CSV_CONFIG_SV); break;

I plan to catch method

parseAndCacheTransactions

and then its argument which says what kind of transaction it is.

Now my question how can I chart it?

Will I need a measure on that and business transaction where splitting will be exact argument?

Is my approach correct?

Yes, create a Method Argument measure for that method and argument, then add it to the Split Results of your Business Transaction. You may also use the "Transformation Regex" field of that measure to say something like "([^\.]*)\.class" to strip out the ".class" from the value

Thanks! I will try it.
