Still seeing dynaTraceMonitor in error log? Where is it coming from

We have previously removed all our old AppMon agents from our severs but we still see HTTP Request to /dynaTraceMonitor endpoint in our app server logs. I don't know where its coming from.

Can you give ma a hint?

Hello,

dynaTraceWebServerAgent seems to be running :

https://www.dynatrace.com/support/doc/appmon/inst...

Regards,

Mathieu

We have stopped them on every web server! Hmm but thx

Just in case 😉

Do /dynaTraceMonitor requests throw HTTP 5xx Errors ?

Have you a CDN in front of your app ?

When i make a GET Request to this i get this output

FL(Webserver,UemDisabled)|enabled=false

This makes a HTTP 500

URI: /dynaTraceMonitor
Method: POST
PathInfo: /dynaTraceMonitor
Remote Address: 192.x.x.x

Ok,

I think the calls come from Dynatrace Javascript always loaded in users browsers because :

- You use CDN and Dynatrace Javascript is sent by it. So to resolve this problem, you must flush your CDN cache.

- You have a Cache-Control on your Javascripts with a long max-age so Dynatrace Javascript is still loaded from Browser cache.

For resolution, you must wait the end of the max-age time since the desactivation of Dynatrace.

Mathieu
