Two Web Server agents on one Windows Machine

I am preparing to instrument a vendor-developed application on Windows servers. This application has IIS sites and App Pools for one major function of the app and Apache - WebLogic for a different function. I would like the Transaction Flow Diagram to display two "tiers" or "agent groups" corresponding to the two functions we are monitoring. I assume I will need to create two Web Server Agent services on the server to accomplish this. How do I configure that?

Hi Steve,

See this page:

Do a find for "Multiple" to go right to the section you need.

Basically you install two instances and change the UDP port and agent name for each instance.

Thank you Dave. I should have been able to find that on my own, and I had guessed that was what I had to do. I just wanted to see it in writing. I appreciate that you responded.

Good Scenario. Would like to know how the Host Agents will be reporting data!
