UEM Heatmap Plugin

I am successfully sending Purelytics data to Elasticsearch and I am trying to generate a heatmap like described in this blog article. http://apmblog.dynatrace.com/2016/05/26/using-heat...

I've installed the Greasemonkey plugin and have enabled the heatmap.user.js user script. When I fill out the little blue popup though with my Elasticsearch information I get just a blank blue screen that shows 0 clicks.

I am guessing this means it didn't find any data, but when I view my URL http://myelasticsearchurl:9200/dt*/_search I see data in there.

Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Any suggesstions or troubleshooting steps?

Hi Derek

Check out this related post: https://answers.dynatrace.com/questions/153095/dyn...

One of the things mentioned there are problems with CORS. You may need to enable CORS support in order to allow an AJAX Call from your current website to your ElasticSearch. If you open the dev tools in your browser you will probably see the call with an error message from the browser saying something like "not allowed"

hope this helps
