UEM - Javascript agent Configuration Question

Hello everyone,

We would like to know something about this JS agent.
Let me clarify my question.

We know this :
"The data collected by the JavaScript Agent is sent back to the instrumented Web Server via an HTTP POST.

After it executes in the user's browser, it continuously sends performance and other data to the web site where the Server-side Agent runs."

If we want that the JS agent send the data to an another Web server (we can call it "DT web server" ).

Is it possible to do it?

We have the Apmon 6.5.

Thanks.

regards,

Adama

Hello Adama,

Yes you can. Just read the below explanation about CORS concept.

AppMon enables injection of the JavaScript Agent on web servers that are not instrumented. If a website is hosted on a web server where UEM is not active, the JavaScript Agent has to report to a different domain, which can cause cross domain problems. If you use a CDN and don't want to send the monitor signal back through the CDN, you can send the monitor signal via CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing).
