User Action Business Transaction

Hi,

I got a problem while creating an User Action BT. The thing
is that I’m not getting any result from it and I don’t know why.

This is the BT definition:

The metric itself:

In the Action Name i hace tried with Start With and
Contains.

These are some of the User Actions not captured by this BT:

Do you know what am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Alberto.

Hi Alberto D.!

I think there are a few things we can try.

First, you need to remove the end quotation from your measure. That goes against the action names I am seeing. So it should be:

click on "BOOK NOW FOR

And not

click on "BOOK NOW FOR "

From there, are you trying to filter your BT based on the response time of the user action? Or do you want to filter on the actions happening (count)? If you want to filter on the occurrence, I would recommend using the "User Action Count (User Actions)" measure versus the "Total Time (User Actions)" measure.

Let me know if this helps!

Kind regards,

Joshua P.

Hi Alberto,

Can you try removing the final quote from the string in your filter to make it:

'click on "Book Now For'

Remove the single quotes, of course, as they are only used to show the string clearly.

Did you create the measure by right clicking on a User Action? That is the best way to start, to be sure there are no typos. Then truncate it as needed to get rid of the dynamic content. I believe it is including the trailing quote, which is not what is intended in your case.

HTH,

dave

I see Joshua got his answer in just before mine, but I obviously agree with his solution!
