User Action Elapsed Time increases over the course of a visit

We have observed in one of our systems that over the course of a day, the user actions get increasingly slower though the purepaths themselves stay fairly consistent.

Looking into the breakdown of the user actions we see that this seems to be caused by elapsed time.

In the first screenshot, that shows an user action from early on in the visit, we can see that the execution time is around 600 ms and elapsed time is 46 ms.

In the first screenshot, that shows the same user action from later on in the visit, we can see that the execution time is still around 600 ms but elapsed time has increased up to 1.5 seconds.

Every dashlet/chart that I've looked at in appmon doesn't appear to show anything that explains what this delay is made up of or why it happens.

Is there any where that will show what exactly is happening to cause this delay?

Thanks in advance,

Ian

You can right click on the user action and select details to get information about nagivation timings.

Thanks for the reply Patrick H.

Unfortunately the details only seem to show further breakdown of the Exec time (Doc request time, processing time, etc) but still don't show any breakdown of what was occurring during the elapsed time
