hi Team,

We are seeing skipped purepaths and Early discarded purepaths in our server. We have reached out to support to resolve the issue. But may i know what's the difference between both and their impact to analysis.

Thanks

Sree

Hello Sree,

Early Discarded PurePaths (Server)
Number of PurePaths discarded early in the processing chain.

Skipped PurePaths
Counting Skipped PurePaths per Interval over all agents.

Review the below link for more insight.

Thanks Babar!

But the given link has no info on discarded and skipped purepaths.

Hello @Sreedhar M.

In the same document Corrupted bullet is explaining about the reasons behind the skipped purepaths.

You can also find the descriptions of each metric from the dynaTrace Self-Monitoring system profile.

You can find the description in the Documentation.

  • Skipped PurePaths: The number of PurePaths that do not get analyzed due to missing events such as not arriving in time.
  • Early Discarded PurePaths: The number of Purepaths discarded early in the processing chain, prior to completion.
