Where is the javascript agent is stored?

Hi All,

Let say we set the javascript location as some non-existing path like /abcd/1234/4567. At the very first visit, we can see the content of javascript agent at http://localhost:someport/abcd/1234/4567/dtagent_..

My questions is then where is the javascript actually stored? In cache? Or does it need to be stored in some real folder?

Regards,

Tuan Hoang

Hi Tuan Hoang,

the HTTP request with the URI that you've set never actually reaches your server, it's handled by the web server or app server agent (if UEM is switched on) and not propagated.

The javascript agent javascript code is then assembled on the fly by that agent according to the configuration and returned as the HTTP response to the HTTP request. Best regards,

Peter
