Hello,

When creating a custom jmx measure, I see Custom, Jboss, Tomcat and 2 weblogic versions. Why is there default no Websphere option, is this pure by coinsidance?

Hello Henk,
Not sure what do you mean, in the agent based measures you can see Websphere Metrics (see attached pic). If those metrics are not covering your needs, you can also use the "Custom JMX" metric.

Also, in case that this could be helpfull, we have some plugins to retrieve metrics from Websphere:

Hi Rodrigo,

My question concerns on step further, when you create the custom JMX, then you find a list with different options like tomcat weblogic etc. Then Websphere is not in the list,

Hi,

I don't have right now to test this but try with this option, it should work:
1) Select Generic "Custom JMX" > "Custom JMX measure"
2) on the right menu " Browse Metrics"

3) Click on "Pick Agent"
4) Select the Websphere agent and the metric you are interested

Hi Rodrigo,

I mean i below list, why is Websphere missing?

KR Henk

Not sure what could be the reason or dev implications about that 😕 . But at the end you could do it with the generic custom JMX
