Will UEM work in Electron apps?

Will UEM work in a Electron app? Someone who already did a test with this?

Electron is an open source library
developed by GitHub for building cross-platform desktop applications
with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Electron accomplishes this by combining Chromium and Node.js into a single runtime and apps can be packaged for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

I just verified with the Electron QuickStart application from GitHub.
By manually adding the UEM-Tag to the top of index.html's head section, you can monitor your Electron apps.

I also checked the executeJavaScript method as an alternative to modifying the HTML code, but that yielded an unhandled promise rejection. Might be easy to solve, though.

Thanks Martin.

Chris - if you need more details Martin actually sent me a really great email after I asked him about how we support this. Happy to either post the content to the forum or I forward you the email

What, if any, options exist for UEM of enterprise Electron apps (eg MS Teams, Slack) when they are delivered via SaaS and consequently do not allow any agents to be installed on the cloud provider’s server infrastructure?

Hi Andreas

I woukd appreciate if you could share this with the community or send me this via email. Thanks in adcnace!
