Wrong timings and grouping of UEM data

Hello,

I
have a problem with EUM monitoring with Dynatrace Appmon 6.5.

The
following scenario: using Selenium and PhantomJS I continuously execute a certain action (click)
on my web-application which executes an asynchronous request and loads some
resources. It uses Icefaces and the Icefaces plugin has been activated in the
configuration.

The
click and request are recorded, but according to Dynatrace, the click was done
AFTER the resulting request – see screenshot. broken-correlation.png

Additionally, the asynchronous
request is not grouped into the “click” user action but the resource requests
are. If I compare them, both requests (asynchronous and the resource ones)
contain the “dtPC” cookie with the same value. As far
as I understand, this is used to correlate them to a user action.

Is the asynchronous request not grouped
into the click action, because it is (according to the time), done “before” the
click acion even the dtPC value is the same? And how could this happen? Any idea how to
fix this?

Some
additional information: the connection has quite a high latency; also a WAN
optimizer is used. Maybe this information is helpful.

Greets,
Marius

Hi Marius,

It sounds like your JS agent isn't configured to properly look at IceFaces, make sure you have the box checked in your UEM settings.

Hi Kyle,

I already verified this and ICEfaces is activated in the UEM configuration.
