Hi ,

When I stop a collector in Linux command : service DynatraceColletor stop , there are no alert in Dynatrace Self monitoring. I can only see the stopped collector In server collector tab.

The alert : "Collector not connected (unecpected)" is activated

How to alert a collector stopped by Linux command to ?

If you stop the collector with service ... stop this alert will not trigger, and rightfully so.

The alert is only for unexpected downtime of a collector as the name suggests, if you orderly shut the collector down, it will not trigger.

Yep, there's no equivalent for the collector to the application process unavailable (shutdown) incident that exists for agents. I imagine that is what would be necesary.
