I through dynatrace I'm trying to analyze the data at best.

But my PurePath does not "lived" forever and I need another software or program to do it.

Not really sure what you are asking or what product you are using. Are you using Dynatrace (accessing mainly through a web UI) or AppMon (accessing mainly through a rich client)? Data retention policies are different for each.

James

I'm using Dynatrace AppMon

PurePath retention will be based off of the amount of disk space that is available for session storage as new PurePaths come in and there is no space available the older ones get cycled out. I'd say you have two options:

  • Increase your storage space available to hold on to PurePaths for a longer period (still not forever just longer)
    • You can right click -> details on a system profile to see how long back you still have PurePaths for to get an idea of what you currently have
    • https://www.dynatrace.com/support/doc/appmon/administration/server-administration/storage/
  • If you know you want to come back to PurePaths you can export or store offline sessions so that they will be available until you remove them
    • https://www.dynatrace.com/support/doc/appmon/application-monitoring/usage-of-sessions/importing-and-exporting-sessions/

PurePaths are proprietary so there would be no way to export them to another tool, you'll need to use a client if you want to analyze any you have exported.
