dynaTrace Scheduler that runs Monday - Friday 07:00 AM - 11:59 PM

An interesting question: How to setup a schedule that runs from Monday – Friday (but not during night 12:00 AM – 07:00 AM because of maintenance).
Handle it by editing the xml file of the system profile (Don’t forget to stop the dT-Server before changing the XML file):
Example:

<schedule id="Mo-Fr 07:00 AM - 11:59 PM" timezone="Europe/Berlin" useservertimezone="false">
  <trigger recurrmode="minutes" interval="10" endmode="date" repeat="-1" end="0" begin="1387359220187" include="true">
   <calendar starthour="0" startminute="0" endhour="7" endminute="0" type="DailyCalendar" />
   <calendar exclude="130" type="WeeklyCalendar" />
   <calendar exclude="0" type="YearlyCalendar" />
  </trigger>
</schedule>
<calendar exclude="130" type="WeeklyCalendar" />
<calendar starthour="0" startminute="0" endhour="7" endminute="0" type="DailyCalendar" />
The blue lines define the exceptions (where the schedule should not run).

de-activating the schedule will still charge the monthly fee per call? or the monitor will just count numbers of call had made and send the bill?

I came across this situation too. I need to disable report sending during 11 PM to 5 AM everyday. And to my surprise It came to know that I cannot achieve this. (sad)
